Farewell to Senior Indian Diplomats in Canberra
FINACT organised a farewell for Mr Surinder Datta, Deputy High Commissioner of India, Mr Mukesh Kumar, First Secretary and Mr Tarun Kumar, First Secretary on Sunday 26 July 2015. The celebrities at the event were Mr Surinder Datta, Mrs Sunita Datta, Mr Mukesh Kumar and Mrs Sangeeta Kumar. Several Indian community leaders attended the farewell and appreciated Mr Surinder Datta and his team’s inclusiveness and community engagement in the last few years.
The farewell party actually turn out goodbyes into something unforgettable and fantastic moment. Dr Krishna Nadimpalli handed over a memento on behalf of all Indian communities to Mr & Mrs Surinder Datta for their support to Indian Communities. Mr Jacob handed over memento to Mr & Mrs Mukesh Kumar.

Mr Surinder Datta appreciated the support received from Canberra Indian community and said to have amazing experience. He also appreciated the FINACT’s leadership in uniting all Indian communities together and stronger in Canberra. Mr Mukesh Kumar reiterated the emerging community leadership in Australian politics.
Mr Surinder Datta is leaving for his new position as High Commissioner of India for Zimbabwe. On behalf of all Indian communities the attendees gave their best wishes for his new responsibilities and endeavour, and thanked for his inspiration as a good friend for Canberra Indians. Mr Mukesh Kumar is returning to Delhi on a path to go for a new destination. Good bye and God bless you all!
