On behalf of the ACT Government, I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Federation of Indian Associations of the ACT every success for your third annual T-20 cricket tournament.
The love of cricket is a common bond between India and Australia, and our shared passion for the game is sure to be on display throughout the tournament.
Canberra is fortunate to be able to experience the vibrancy of Indian culture through local events such as the annual Festival of Lights and Multicultural Festival. These celebrations not only showcase the richness of Indian culture, but also serve to highlight our city’s cultural diversity and the close ties between our two nations.
Ensuring sporting events such as this are a success takes committed planning and considerable effort, and I would like to acknowledge the hard work of the tournament’s organising committee in making the event possible.
