Congratulations to the Federation of Indian Associations of ACT (FINACT) on yet another successful Westpac FINACT T-20 Cricket Tournament over the past few weeks. This tournament brings together passionate and diverse communities from across Canberra and itâs great to see all the matches played in such a fine competitive spirit. Whatever your result, youâve been able to put rivalries aside after the final ball has been bowled.
FINACT brings together many groups from across Canberra and itâs clear that one of the many aspects that bind all of these groups together is cricket.
FINACT plays a significant role in representing the Indian communities across Canberra, particularly in the Gungahlin region. I have worked with many of the FINACT groups and look forward to continue to work with you in Yerrabi and the wider community over the coming years.
