Foreword for the 2013 FINACT Rolling Trophy T20 Cricket Tournament
In 2013, Canberra’s Centenary year, we are looking forward to a virtual’banquet’ of sporting events of the highest quality and entertainment, including the 2013 FINACT Rolling Trophy T20 Cricket Tournament. I would like to congratulate FINACT on this fantastic initiative which was rewarded with a great response from the ACT community in 2012. The ACT is home to a passionate and diverse network of cricket enthusiasts, and the FINACT Rolling Trophy T20 Cricket Tournament offers a terrific opportunity for players and supporters alike to enjoy high quality cricket.
As Canberrans, we are very proud of the diversity of our community and our multicultural celebrations, in particular the National Multicultural Festival held each February. The FINACT Rolling Trophy T20 Cricket Tournament celebrates the fantastic contribution the various sub continent communities make to the fabric of the wider ACT community.
