This is to express my gratitude to all the member associations and their delegates for electing me the president of FINACT for the year 2015-16.
FINACT in association with the High Commission of India is organising India Independence Day function on Sat 15 August 2015. If any member association wishes to present any patriotic performance, please contact the Secretary.
The 1st ever International Day of Yoga was organised by the High Commission o India in associaton with the Federation of Indian Association of ACT (FINACT) in Canberra in East West Lawns in front of Old Parliament of Australia from 11 am to 12:30 pm.
Hon’ble Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Twelve Indian Parliamentarians representing various states are visiting Canberra.
FINACT is organising in association with High Commission of India the event Meet & Greet the Indian Parliamentary Delegation. The event is to facilitate the community leaders in Canberra to represent and pursue any issues with the Indian Government. This is aligned with the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to have better coordination with NRIs and improved foreign policy.
