Cultural differences should not separate us from each other, but rather cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all of humanity. FINACT demonstrated this philosophy of Robert Silverstein in the community harmony day event yesterday and demonstrated its moto of ‘Unity in Diversity’.
I would like to thank the distinguished guests including Chief Minister Andrew Barr, Senator Zed Seselja, Deputy Leader of opposition Alistair Coe MLA, Minister Meegan Fitzharris, Giulia Jones MLA, Brendan Smyth MLA and the Minister for Multicultural Affairs Yvette Berry (Patron of FINACT) who joined us at the start of event and stayed till its conclusion.
We also thank DHC of India Mr Ajay Kumar, Chin Wong (Federation of Chinese associations), all the FINACT member associations, their delegates, our sponsors and the dedicated volunteers, without whom the success of this event would not have been possible.
The member associations will be notified shortly about the general council meeting and discuss about FINACT’s upcoming activities.
